  • What is ACAMS?

  • Do I have to be an ACAMS member to attend the conference?
    No. While the conference is organized by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists® (ACAMS), it offers vital AML knowledge and networking to everyone in this growing industry.
  • What is included in the registration fee?
    Conference registration includes admission to all general sessions, seminars, workshops and roundtables. In addition to intensive on-site learning, you will also receive a link to online conference materials, which include original speaker papers and key reference materials specially selected by the ACAMS Education and Training team. Also included in your registration fee are numerous opportunities to network during refreshment breaks, luncheons and receptions.
  • Can I bring a guest to a cocktail reception?
    Yes. If you wish to invite a guest to a cocktail reception, the cost is $50. Please see the cashier at the registration desk to make your payment and pick up a name badge for your guest.
  • Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
    Yes. The certificates are handed out at the register desk on the last day of the conference. For your convenience, you may also contact ACAMS to have your certificate of attendance emailed to you.

  • Can I earn continuing education credits by attending?
    Conference attendees can earn up to five (5) CAMS credits per day. You may also qualify for CLE, CPE, CRCM, and CFSSP credits; for more information please contact ACAMS.

    ACAMS is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.   • How do I register for the CAMS Examination?
    The CAMS Examination is now offered in computer-based format at over 400 testing centeres throughout the world. To register, visit acams.org and download the CAMS Candidate Handbook, or call the ACAMS Certification Department at +1.305.373.0020.
  • ACAMS Conference Cancellation Policy
    Conferences and Training Cancelations For refunds you must contact for the 8th Annual International Money Laundering Conference, you must contact the Service Team via email, mail or fax. Cancelations received up to August 5th , 2009 will receive a full refund minus a $250 administration fee. Cancelations received up to September 1st, 2009 will be issued a credit voucher to be used towards next year’s conference. Cancelations received on or after the September 2nd , 2009 dead line will not be refunded.

    Registrants who are unable to attend the ACAMS 8th Annual International Money Laundering Conference may have a substitute person attend. Please note that if the transfer is made from an ACAMS member to a non-ACAMS member, you will be charged the difference. Simply email us at info@acams.org to add their name to our attendee list. As a courtesy, we ask that any name changes be made at least five (5) business days prior to the conference.
  • Onsite Name Badge Replacement
    There will be a $50 charge for each name badge replacement made onsite at the conference.
  • Visa Letter Information or Letter of Invitation
    If you require a visa to attend this conference, we can provide an invitation letter to present at the embassy after you have paid your registration fee. However, we cannot take responsibility for arranging your visa, nor can we be held responsible if the embassy refuses your application.
